All of them you just need to consume less than you burn!! Reducing body fat is simply loosing weight (fat) Your body weight in lbs x 16 Your body weight in lbs x 18 The two numbers you get will give you min and max calorie intake per day to maintain you current weight. If you are very active choose a number near the top of the scale If you are inactive choose a number at the bottom of the scale If you are average or unsure choose a number near the middle. To loose weight at a recommended safe rate aim for a calorie intae that is 20-25% lower than the number that you have chosen At the end of the day it doesn't make too much difference what you eat, as long its healthy with in reason. It also makes little difference when you eat or work out, at the end of the day or week your calorie intake being less than what you burn will determine the rate that you loose weight. The averages speak for themselves in the end, You might have a bad day and eat a little too much but if you have been good all week the averages will keep your weight going down. It is recommended that you keep your diet at around 40% protein 25% good fats and oils and the rest in healthy low GI (complex) carbs A diet with a high proportion of protein will fill you up for longer and make sure the weight you loose is only fat and not precious muscle Protein: chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, lean red meat (white meat is better absorbed by our bodies if you are working out) egg whites Fats and oils: Nuts(protein and oils), deep sea fish(protein and oil), softer cheeses(protein and fat) olive oil, flax seeds Carbs: Avoid sugary food a little is fine now and then but don't make it a staple in your diet. Honey is a better alternative and is a natural thermalgesic which boosts metabolism. The more complex the better Whole grain pasta and breads, fruit and vegetables, oats are great, brown rice They key is though if your diet is not in a calorie deficit you won't loose the body fat you disire, no mater how good the foods you eat are or how much you work out. Hope that helps
